Okay. Let's talk lameness.

We've hit to two week mark. I've watched my pony get spontaneously lame, improve, regress, start out sore but get almost sound, and then the next day, go back to being sore. Until he's put on a lunge. Then almost sound again.

Right.

The problem with horses, is that they can't talk. And the problem with most "cures" is that they counteract each other.

Soak an abscess to get it to rupture. But if it's a bruise, soaking does more harm. Stall rest for a tear...or time in the paddock. Every argument has an opposite argument, every solution has a risk. What do we do?

We've gotta get scientific on it.

What I know.
