2002
March 2002 - Received 4 mounted, 1 un-mounted group riding lesson at MGRA.
May 2002 - Lessons ran out.
October 2002 - Purchased 4 group lessons at Heartland Stables.
November 2002 - Returned to MGRA for 6 weeks, and took 2 weeks off for high school exams.
2003
January 2003 - Discovered I'd been removed from MGRA's Lessons Program, and it was now full. Completed evaluation lesson (private) at CEC and was placed in semi-private lessons.
May 2003 - Completed Canadian Equestrian Federation Level 1 Test; did not apply for CEF certificate. Stopped taking lessons.
2004
February 2004 - Part-boarded high-schooled dressage horse from HC Stables. First experience with herd-bound horse, and decided after 2 months that I wasn't willing to deal with that situation.
May 2004 - Got job with Polo club; rode Wednesday - Sunday for 2 months.
June 2004 - Head injury.
September 2004 - Rode for the first time since injury.
2005
Summer 2005 - Free leased OTTB, "Bertha"
September 2005 - Gave up opportunity to purchase Bertha, first horse I ever considered buying.
2006
Summer 2006 - Road occasionally with friends, or used their horses.
2007
May 2007 - Worked 1 month for polo club while waiting for 'real' job to start.
2008
Summer 2008 - Spent summer taking private lessons near BHP. Considered purchasing OTTB from polo club, as well as OTTB from other polo player. Situation wasn't right.
2009
Summer 2009 - Returned to private lessons.
2010
February to April 2010 - Group lessons at MRR, in adult class.
April 2010 - Met T of TM Ranch. Starting riding MoonSox.
Summer 2010 - Rode MoonSox all summer.
Christmas 2010 - Received MoonSox as Christmas present.
2011
May 2011 - Started private lessons with Coach W and MoonSox.
June 2011 - Jumped 2' without knocking down the pole.
July 2011 - Moon successfully learns to Leg Yield.
July 2011 - Purchased first 'name brand' english saddle (close-contact)
July 2011 - Joined the Interlake Riding Club as a means to gain more experience in prep for shows.
July 2011 - Moon's first group trail ride w/me at the helm.
August 2011 - Moon's first injury since I owned him
September 2011 - Moon's first move to a real barn AND his own stall!
October 2011 - First time Moon has been blanketed and successfully lives with box-stall board
December 2011 - Started "CanteringCustoms", a custom stall sign endeavor to help fund our show career.
2012
January 2012 - Purchased my first horse trailer!
March 2012 - First "Practice Show" with Moon at Bar W
April 2012 - Moved Moon to private stable near BHP.
May - September 2012 - Competed Moon with Dressage Winnipeg and at PineRidge Hollow Equine park. Competed in: Pas a Deux, Kur (Freestyle), Dressage, Costume Class, Hunt Seat, X-rails, Trail.
2013
October 2013 - Competed in cross-rails and 2' jumper at a fun show
2014
September 2014 - First horse camping adventure (Spruce Woods)
2015
May 2015 - Started jumping Lessons with Samm Kidd
September 2015 - Second horse camping adventure at Spruce Woods
2016
April 30th, 2016 - Moon's first case of scratches
April 30th, 2016 - Moon moves into my backyard <3
April 30th, 2016 - Moon's first trip in my horse trailer (10 minutes for H to load)
April 30th, 2016 - Led behind quad at walk-trot
